NVIDIA National Order, Huang Rensheng: AI is indispensable as power network
NVIDIA (NVIDIA) executive chief Huang Renhe went to Saudi Arabia to announce an important cooperation case before coming to Taiwan this week. Huang Renfeng said through a news release that artificial intelligence (AI) is like power and the Internet, and is an indispensable and important basic facility for every country.
NVIDIA, a major AI chip manufacturer, and Saudian Arab, announced on the 14th that it will start a cooperation. HUMAIN, a subsidiary of Public Investment Fund, will invest heavily in building an AI factory in Saudian Arabia, and plans to deploy up to 100,000 NVIDIA's most advanced picture processor (GPU) in the next five years, with 5 million megawatts in terms of computing power.
Huang Renyue pointed out that NVIDIA is working with HUMAIN to build AI infrastructure for the people and enterprises of Saudi Arabia to realize the grand vision of Saudi Arabia.
In the first phase of this project, an AI supercomputer equipped with 18,000 NVIDIA GB300 Grace Blackwell chips will be deployed, paired with the NVIDIA InfiniBand network.
HUMAIN will deploy Saudi Arabia's first NVIDIA Omniverse Cloud platform, leveraging digital genomic technology to simulate and test various physical AI solutions. NVIDIA will also strengthen the overall computing ecosystem of Saudi Arabia and train thousands of developers to provide developers with skills to accelerate computing and AI to solve complex problems.
In addition, NVIDIA and the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA) will jointly deploy up to 5,000 Blackwell GPUs to build authoritative AI factories and smart city solutions. The NVIDIA and the Saudian Arab Data and AI Administration will also train government agencies and universities scientists and engineers to develop and deploy physical and proxy AI models.
