Post: Carrington’s facilities were fully utilized after the renovation, with players still relaxing late after Sunday’s game
According to the "Daily Mail" report, Manchester United's Carrington training base, which has previously invested heavily in renovation, is now favored by players and many facilities have been fully utilized.
The report stated that the degree of improvement at the Carrington training base after a 50 million pound renovation can be seen: On Sunday night, many players remained at the training ground long after the Manchester United bus arrived at around 9:30 pm, and they made full use of the upgraded facilities.
Around six or seven players spent time in ice baths, hot tubs and saunas to aid their recovery after United's win over Liverpool - despite having arrived at Carrington at 11.30am that morning for a pre-match meal and team meeting.
The whole team returned to the training ground on Monday. The players who played in Sunday's game conducted light gym training and recovery, while the players who did not play performed more intensive training on the grass. Tuesday is a rest day for all players.
