ESPN: Gabriel will be out for at least a month and will miss games against Tottenham, Bayern and Chelsea

ESPN reported that Arsenal defender Gabriel will be sidelined for at least a month.

The Brazil international suffered a thigh muscle strain in last week's friendly match against Senegal. Arsenal's medical team is still evaluating his injury, but the initial diagnosis is that he will be absent for four weeks. If the injury does not heal as quickly as expected, the absence may be longer.

This is a huge blow to Arteta and his team, as Gabriel has performed well both defensively and offensively this season, starting all Premier League and Champions League games so far.

Arsenal is the team with the most clean sheets in the Premier League this season (7 clean sheets in 11 games), and it is also the team with the fewest goals conceded (5 goals conceded in 11 games). Gabriel played an important role in this. He also scored two goals and provided three assists in various events.

He will miss some key games, such as the North London derby against Tottenham, the Champions League top-of-the-table battle against Bayern Munich, and next week's away game against Chelsea.

Arteta has multiple alternatives in the defense, such as Inkapier, who is a left-footed general like Gabriel, or Mosquera.

On the other hand, the Italian team confirmed that Calafioli left the training camp due to injury. Head coach Gattuso said: "Maybe he could have played, but it would not be fair to him or Arsenal."
