Official: West Ham signs Leicester City goalkeeper Hermanson for 5 years
Hermanson grew up as a star player in the Brondby, won the 2022 Team Player of the Year, and then helped Leicester City win the English Championship in the 2023-24 season and was selected for the league's best team. He made more than 100 saves in the Premier League last season and now he chooses to continue to play for West Ham in the top league.
Hermanson said: "I am very happy to join West Ham. I have long believed that this place is highly consistent with my style of playing. This decision is extremely natural. The warm atmosphere created by the 62,500 fans in London Stadium is exactly what football players dream of."
West Ham coach Porter was satisfied with defeating many giant competitors: "Hermanson has shown top-notch standards in Leicester City in the past two years, and the most exciting thing is that he still has huge room for growth. His save ability and ball-shot skills are particularly outstanding, while maintaining a positive attitude of thrilling progress. This is the quality we attach great importance to."
