In an interview with TNT, Crystal Palace defender Guy talked about the failure to transfer to Liverpool this summer. He said that life must continue, and this is his mentality.

Gey said: "Sunrise and sunset, life continues, that's my mindset, and if you can keep that in most things, your life can keep going. Fortunately, the club I played for gave me enough help and support, so it really makes me much easier."

"My family has always been by my side, friends and people who have always supported me, and of course, there are clubs, people who work together every day, teammates, and everyone is by my side. So, when they're kidding, I can be honest and candid, and in that sense, it's really great."
