Tabby cat with hydrocephalus never grows up, but has super special healing power
An 11-month-old tabby cat, Tennessee, was rescued from a home with cat hoarding disorder. The other cats were all healthy, but it was the only one that had the teeth of an adult cat and looked like a kitten. After diagnosis, the doctor determined that it has hydrocephalus, so no matter how old it is, it will always look like a two-month-old kitten. Tennessee was then sent to a shelter for cats with special needs, where he unexpectedly showed special healing powers and brought great warmth to other cat companions! Volunteers said that Tennessee may look small, but he has an extremely big heart and loves everyone!

Tennessee is actually 11 months old, but due to hydrocephalus, his body shape will always be like a kitten.
After Tennessee arrived at the shelter, he first took turns coquettishly sleeping with each cat, so that all the cats accepted him. At this time, volunteers began to discover that Tennessee’s personality has a healing quality. As long as there is a cat that needs companionship, it will go to sleep next to the other cat. If a new cat comes, it will be the first to welcome Nengchan, so that the new cat will be less nervous and can integrate into the big family more quickly.

August is a cat with cerebellar hypoplasia and often staggers when walking. Tennessee spends a lot of time lying next to August every day to accompany her.
The black and white cat Memphis has congenital facial deformities, and Tennessee usually doesn't stay too far away from it so that it can always be there when Memphis needs it.
When ten-year-old Bishop arrived at the shelter, Tennessee was the first to welcome him and make him feel at ease.

Volunteers said that whenever Tennessee sees a cat taking a nap, it will go over and join in. He adores other cats and loves to snuggle and play. Tennessee, who just turned one this week, is still like a little kitten, but she has more love than anyone else and provides hugs to everyone, especially those cats who need it most.
Tennessee brings caring companionship and healing to other cats.
